«Harvest Diary 2006» - Monday 09 October

As happens every year, we had to wait for the Cabernet Sauvignon. As the grapes are in good condition, we decide to use the harvesting machine that we used on the Merlot and again, the results obtained are entirely satisfactory in terms of the quality of the harvest. On the other hand, the lack of water in the spring and summer has left its mark and the grapes are small in some parts of the plot, with the result that the harvest is nearly 30% smaller than usual.
