On 1st October, we had the pleasure of welcoming Mrs Harumi Tsuji to the Domaine des Crès Ricards, who is the General Manager of Wine Press International.
As well as wanting to taste our new vintages, the purpose of her first visit was to find out about our soils and growing conditions, to visit our wine-making facilities and to examine our cultivation and vinification methods.
Although we did not have time to visit the entire estate, Mrs Tsuji was nevertheless able to discover the pebbly soil (galets roulés) of the Terrasses du Larzac while visiting our plots of Carignan, Grenache and Mourvèdre and her visit to our cellar gave her a better understanding of the vinification techniques we use and our approach to quality assurance, which enables us to ensure the traceability of our operations.
As it is always very pleasant and instructive to talk with Mrs Tsuji, who through her training as an oenologist, her solid background as a wine waiter and her current activities has a perfect understanding of the wine world, this day was undeniably fruitful and consolidated the partnership that exists between our two companies.
